Unison was honored at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine for their partnership with Teens for Food Justice. Below is a blurb about the event!
“New York City is making bold moves to address food and health inequities across all boroughs. Our new public/private partnership will engage public middle and high school youth in building and maintaining high capacity hydroponic farms at their schools, distributing healthy food, and promoting health and wellness in their communities.
Teens for Food Justice, a not-for-profit youth leadership and urban agriculture organization, will train this next generation of food activists, building community partnerships across NYC to develop food oases where food deserts and pockets of poor health and nutrition currently exist.”
